Nova adopts latest fashion look

Subway-tile splashbacks and black matte cabinetry just some of the trendy options on latest Nova caravan range

Already a style-leader in the Australian caravan industry, Nova has given its 2018 range of caravans an even fresher look, adopting some of the latest decor trends from the domestic interior design industry for its six, full-height models.

Highlighting some of the new options available and taking centre stage at last month’s Victorian Caravan Supershow was the latest addition to Nova’s rough-road range, the new entry-level 15ft Terra Sportz 15-1C.

The single axle show van’s interior was highlighted by matt black lower cabinet finishes, raw timber-look benchtops and white--with-black-grouting subway tiling splashbacks in the kitchen and bathroom, that wouldn’t have looked out of place in any modern European apartment.

The new ‘mini’ Terra Sportz was also the first Nova caravan fitted with Dometic’s new, matching slide-out kitchen, which incorporates a three-burner cooktop, sink with mixer tap, timber cutting board and a drawer fridge.

Nova is also spruiking the fact that despite a body measuring just 4930mm x 2440mm, the 15ft Terra Sportz manages to squeeze into its compact floorplan a full-sized double bed, albeit east/west facing, a separate toilet and shower, L-shaped dinette and a 184 litre compressor fridge in the kitchen.

Fitted with  optional reverse camera, oven, ceramic toilet and two Sirocco fans, and boasting a a tare weight of 2187kg and ATM of 2750kg, the display van had 'show special' pricing of $69,990 -- a $3000 saving according to Nova.

Buyers of any 2018-model Terra Sportz also now have the option of five different colour panels -- red, green, blue, orange or black – on the front section of their van, between the black checker plate and one-piece fibreglass roof.

The new interior options were supplied by Australian RV and building industry interior finishes specialist Nikpol, which also had its own custom-built Nova caravan on display at the Supershow.

While it had a similar interior look to the 15ft Terra Sportz, there were a few notable differences including an all black matte exterior, black tapware and nifty appliances like a Bora combination induction cooktop and rangehood.
