Volkswagen has released pictures of its all-new replacement for the VW Caddy Beach that sold in Australia from $46,990 driveaway.
Renamed the Volkswagen Caddy Mini-Camper, the all-new lifestyle-orientated small van created for the great outdoors is said to boast a range of features designed to make camping out in the bush more comfortable.
Set to be fully unveiled this September, ahead of its launch later this year, the new Mini-Camper is based on the latest fifth-generation Caddy panel van.

That means it's based on the most modern MQB architecture that is shared with the new Mk8 VW Golf.
In Europe buyers get the choice of either a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol with 85kW or a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder that comes with 55kW, 75kW or 90kW.
Volkswagen has yet to reveal full details, but new features introduced on the Caddy Mini-Camper include the same alloy wheels, LED headlamps, roof rails and 1.5 square metre panoramic glass roof as the Caddy minivan.
Inside, there's the Mini-Camper's new standout feature – a full two-metre foldout bed, plus new blinds for the side windows and panoramic roof.
That bed, should you need some space, can be easily removed converting the Mini-Camper back into a van.

Other handy new additions include foldable camping chairs from the larger California van that can be stored under the bed.
Fresh extras include the choice of various awnings and carrying systems for the roof rack.
New tech introduced includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a touch-screen infotainment system that slashes the number of buttons and is available in three sizes: 6.25-, 8.25- and 10-inch.
Like the Golf, there’s advanced voice control and the system is Apple CarPlay compatible. Even wireless phone charging, keyless ignition and an electric tailgate becomes an option.
As far as driving aids go, the Caddy gets Volkswagen’s ACC 2.0 adaptive cruise control that works in stop-start traffic. There’s also a new trailer assist function, side assist and a rear traffic alert.
