New products: Clearview Accessories

No longer a towing mirror specialist, Clearview has expanded its touring accessories range further with the introduction of three new clever products.

Designed for fridge slide-outs in the rear of 4WD wagons and utes, the Clearview Cable Saver prevents cables from getting caught or jammed in the bearing runner by raising it out of harm’s way when the fridge slides in and out. The 540mm long Cable Saver costs $50.

Also for fridge slides is the new Clearview clip-on tray that attaches to the front to provide an outside tray or food prep area around your tailgate. The tray surface measures 454mm x 390mm and it comes with a storage bag to protect it when not being used. It’s priced at $89 but will only fit Clearview's Easy Slide.

Clearview has also released new Power Boards, which are running boards for your 4WD that are power-operated. The power boards are triggered by the vehicle’s door sensor, dropping to a convenient stepping height when the door is opened, and retracting when the door is closed to prevent snagging on off-road hazards.

They’re priced at $1500 and are available for a range of Toyota, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Isuzu models. Visit the Clearview Accessories website for further details and videos.
