New product: OzTent Redgum heated sleeping bag

World’s first non-electric heat adjustable sleeping bag now available

Just in time for the cooler months, OzTent has released what it's claiming to be the world’s first non-electric heat adjustable sleeping bag.

The new Oztent Redgum Hotspot Heated Sleeping Bag has been designed to encourage more Aussies to go camping during the winter period and uses the same technology as its heated camp chairs.

"Everyone’s sleeping needs are different, that is why we have created an extra-large sleeping bag that lets you adjust the warmth to your needs - free of complication or electricity," OzTent says on its website.

Some of the features of the patent protected heated sleeping bag include an extra large ripstop cotton canvas outer shell, with
'Comfort Plus' cotton flannel inner liner, polyester fibre 'T-Therm' insulation, and six 'HotSpot' pockets to keep you nice and snug on the coldest nights.

Getting in and out is made easier with a 'Simple Glide' Zipper System, and there's also an inner storage pocket to keep your valuables.

Oztent says the unique reusable heat pouches will heat up to 53 degrees Celsius in seconds and they've been tested for up to 500 uses.

Priced at $299.99, the heated sleeping bag is sold with three HotSpot pouches. It's covered by a five year warranty and weighs approximately 4kg.
