Automotive lighting specialist Narva has released new ‘brighter and bolder’ versions of its popular 180mm and 215mm Ultima LED driving lights.
Aimed at off-road drivers as well as adventurous RV travellers, Narva says its new Ultima MK2 driving lights have 30 per cent greater light output compared to the first-generation models, along with a 20 per cent longer light beam, making them an even better option for staying safe when Outback touring between dusk and dawn.
The latest Narva driving lights also come with an improved colour rendering index and 5700K colour temperature for less glare and a clearer view of the road, according to Narva.
Tech-wise, the use of higher output Osram LEDs in the latest lights (24 x 5 Watt for the Ultima 180 Mk2 and 33 x 5 Watt for the Ultima 215 MK2), produce 15000 raw Lumens and 1 Lux of brightness at up to 812 metres per pair (Ultima 180 MK2), and 21,780 raw Lumens and 1 Lux of brightness at up to 1093m per pair (Ultima 215 MK2).
Built to last, the MK2 lights feature a pressure die-cast aluminium housing, 'Gore-Tex' breather vent, tough UV-resistant polycarbonate lens and lens protector, and an 'Active Thermal Management System' for heat dissipation.
To minimise vibration on rough road surfaces, the Narva lights are equipped with a polyurethane mounting and suspension system, and also boast an IP66 and IP67 rating for water and dust ingress.
They're available in the latest fashion bezel colours as well as ‘Black Edition’ kit options, and are backed by a five-year LED warranty.
