New product: Hayman Reese X-Bar

Feature-packed towbar designed for ute-driving, off-road enthusiasts

Towing accessories specialist Hayman Reese has released what could be the world’s first dedicated off-road towbar.

According to Hayman Reese, the stylish new X-Bar is the first towbar to come standard with three recovery points rated to a maximum of 6500kg.

Addressing issues of reduced departure angle and clearance when a towbar is fitted, the X-Bar sits 100mm higher than a standard towbar. It also features integrated bash plates for a cleaner design as well as better protection for trailer plugs and wiring from dirt and grime.

The X-bar is built to last with thicker side and centre plates, and forged recovery points and trailer ball mount. Other standard features include MetalShield two-stage paint protection, SmartClick vehicle specific wiring solutions and a bolt bag.

Designed for serious 4WD enthusiasts, the new X-Bar can be fitted to a range of popular late-model, cab-chassis utes including the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-MAX, Holden Colorado, Mazda BT-50, Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi Triton, and Toyota Hilux.

It’s priced from $1200 RRP and is available now from Hayman Reese stockists around Australia.
