Melbourne's Track Trailer will continue to operate under a new ownership structure, after it struck financial difficulties and entered voluntary administration in early June.
The Melbourne-based business is best known as the manufacturer of the iconic Tvan camper for more than two decades, but earlier this year Track director Gerard Waldron confirmed buyers had disappeared and that he had "not seen worse RV market conditions in over 25 years."
"Despite our attempts to reduce costs in response to declining sales, the economic conditions have compelled me to appoint administrators to explore a restructure," he said at the time.
The restructure and sale of the business was completed around three months later on September 6.
"Specific details regarding the sale cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality obligations under the Business Sale Agreement (BSA)," Cor Cordis, the appointed administrators of Harvey Technology Pty Ltd and Outback HQ Pty Ltd trading as Track Trailer, announced on its website.
"The sale has safeguarded the ongoing employment and represents a positive outcome for employees, including a substantial return to the first-ranking secured creditor.
"This successful outcome not only preserves jobs but also secures the future of a longstanding family business. We are grateful for the cooperation of all parties involved, which was instrumental in achieving this result."
