New outdoor expo at Henty
Camping and 4x4 expo at next year's Henty Field Days show in southern NSWShow-starved outdoor enthusiasts in rural areas are being targeted with a new expo at next year’s Henty Machinery Field Days in southern NSW.
The Henty 4WD and Outdoor Adventure Expo staged by Explore Australia Expo on March 10-12, 2017 will be according to the organiser “the biggest four wheel drive, outdoor and adventure expo in regional Australia”.
Expo director Paul Morgan is promising more than 150 exhibitors from the 4WD, touring, camping, fishing and outdoor adventure industries.
“The Henty 4WD & Outdoor Adventure Expo will be designed to engage, inspire and motivate the outdoor enthusiast, with tens of thousands of products on show, educational seminars and entertainment zones, as well as product testing areas for visitor interaction," he said.
During the three day event a specially constructed 4WD demonstration track will host a variety of activities including monster truck action, ATV and side-by-side demonstrations, 4WD test rides, and caravan set up and towing demos.
A new 120 x 18m shed will also be used to stage seminars and trade displays during the expo.
Explore Australia Exhibitions already conducts a number of outdoor adventure-related events including the Explore Australia Expo shows in Melbourne and Brisbane.
