Adelaide's Offline Campers has ripped the covers of its new compact toy hauler camper trailer.
The new Ryder toy hauler is the third model from the fledgling South Australian off-road RV manufacturer, following the release of the Raker rear-fold, hard-floor camper trailer and compact hard-wall Domino hybrid camper.
While offering a distinct rear 'garage' design, the Ryder shares both chassis and lower body components with the other two Offline models, which are built to a high standard using composite materials at Offline's dedicated Elizabeth factory.
According to a post on social media, the new Offline Ryder toy hauler is "built specifically so you don’t have to choose between your love for bikes and your love for touring the Australian Outback, (it) happily lets you indulge both passions".
"Designed for functionality and style plus adventure and luxury, the Ryder comes with all the features that are packed into the Raker and Domino... including full stainless steel kitchen, integrated hot water system, over 2000L of general storage and an additional 500L of storage just for bike gear," the three year old manufacturer said.
Judging by the photos there appears to be plenty of sealed storage compartments for holding all your recreational and camping gear, including two large 'toolboxes' at the front, plus small storage lockers on the other three sides of the slimline base camper.
The rear tray has tie-down points and wheel tracks for transporting up to three motorised dirt bikes or mountain bikes, with tubular external frame supports for mounting an optional rooftop tent for sleeping.
Other features on the Ryder include trailing arm coil independent suspension, a DO-35 off-road coupling and ARK jockey wheel, with a pull-out awning mounted on both sides of the display trailer, gas bottle storage, and at least four jerry holders for carrying extra fuel or water.
For cooking there's a slide-out stainless kitchen with sink and mixer tap, two burner gas cooker, and a 95 litre fridge for keeping the meat and beers chilled.
The standard power system includes two 105Ah AGM batteries, a 40A DC-DC charger and 20A AC-DC charger, with the option to upgrade to a 200Ah lithium battery and 2000W inverter.
The Ryder toy hauler camper comes standard with a 105 litre water tank with high flow pump and shower outlet.
Tare is approximately 1100kg with a payload of up to one tonne or more depending on configuration. Pricing for the 4.7m long by 1.8m wide Ryder starts at $53,300, with a range of other options available including airbag suspension, 100 litre underslung fuel tank and a diesel air and hot water heater.
