New Network RV factory opens

Multi-brand caravan manufacturer opens up big new 10,000sqm Melbourne factory

Fast-growing manufacturer Network RV is the latest Australia caravan builder to move into a brand-new head office and production facility.

Last month Network RV officially opened the doors of its brand-new head office and 10,000 square metre factory at 35 McKellar Way, Epping, not far from the all-new 15,010sqm facility currently being built for Crusader Caravans at the new 4Ten Epping industrial estate.

Queensland off-road caravan manufacturer Zone RV also recently announced it has invested $7.5 million in a new 5000-square-metre facility on Queensland's Sunshine Coast that it plans to move into later this year.

Brand spanking new Network RV office and factory opened last month

Network RV CEO Joe Markovic said pandemic-related construction delays caused the 'move in' date for the new factory to be pushed back from around late-2021 to early-2022, but he thanked staff and customers for their patience during the countless setbacks and production delays caused by COVID-19 disruptions.

"This is what we achieved while everything was down and I could not have done any of this without the support of our great team, everyone in the office and factory floor," he said.

"All the hard work we’ve done has paid off and I feel humbled by the whole experience."

Markovic said the move to a larger, all-in-one production facility was "to accommodate our growing team, and a bigger 10,000 square metre factory floor space to meet the growing demand to produce more caravans."

Network RV has produced caravans under various brand names including Roadhouse and Elite, and at a number of factories in Melbourne's northern suburbs, over the past eight years, but will be focusing on manufacturing its latest range of Network RV, NextGen and Victory caravans at the big new factory.

The factory move coincides with the adoption of a new 'nRV' corporate logo by the medium-size Melbourne manufacturer, as well as the recent expansion of its dealer network with a new retail outlet, Fair Dinkum Caravans established in Queensland, to go with NSW and Victorian dealers trading under the same name.

Last year Network RV also opened up a new warranty and repair centre called Network RV Caravan Solutions in nearby Campbellfield, and launched a new caravan transport business, Caravan Transport Solutions.
