Another odourless, auto-sealing RV and camping dunny has hit the Aussie market, with the arrival of the new LooSeal chemical and water-free toilets.
Available in portable and fixable variants, the LooSeal is an off-grid, fuss-free toilet powered by an in-built 55.5Wh lithium-ion battery that's good for up to 100 'flushes' on a single charge, while the bioplastic liner foil can create up to 70 individual 'catcher' bags before it needs replacing.

"At the push of a button the LooSeal securely seals waste in a bioplastic film, creating an airtight, odour proof and leak proof package you can then dispose of in general rubbish," said Caravan & Camping Aus, one of a number of local retail businesses selling the new toilets.
Designed to look like a conventional cassette toilet, the LooSeal Elite is relatively easy to install with four floor-mounting screws, and uses a 12V cable to recharge the battery as required. It's also waterproof (IPX4 standard), maintenance-free and comes with a 180 degree rotating head.

"Unlike traditional toilets, the LooSeal Elite requires no cutting an access door or running water lines during installation, making it perfect for new builds and retrofits alike," Caravan & Camping Aus said.
Aimed more at tent campers and van-lifers, the LooSeal EVO is a smaller, lighter version that's completely portable, with its own fold-up legs.
Retail pricing starts at $1499 for the LooSeal EVO, rising to $2499 for the LooSeal Elite, with replacement liner rolls costing $24.99 on the Caravan & Camping Aus website.
The LooSeal is the latest hands-free, bag-catching RV toilet to hit the local market, following the arrival of the Laveo DryFlush in 2022 and more recently, the Clesana C1.
