New Home Caravans has just released its first family 'van, and if the pictures are anything to go by, it should keep a family of five in fine style and comfort on holidays, not to mention satisfy the fussiest interior decorators.
Starting around the low-$40,000 mark, New Home says the new Evolve range offers “the best bang for your buck” and has “raised the bar in affordable family touring”.
It’s available in four chassis configurations, with body lengths from 18ft 9in to 21ft 8in, and seven internal layouts, all with a walk-around queen sized bed, kitchen, lounge/dinette, shower/toilet and three fixed bunk beds.
Like all New Home 'vans, the Evolve blends a modern, designer interior look with a slick, fibreglass exterior and Supagal chassis.
According to the manufacturer the standard equipment list is impressive, and the 19ft 6in Evolve currently for sale at Victorian dealer Ian Grants Caravans certainly comes with many of the features you need, including two 9kg gas bottles, roll-out awning, 12V battery system, fibreglass internal step, four burner stove and grille, roof-mounted air con, TV swivel arm and internal TV antenna, CD player with roof speakers, and 175 litres fridge/freezer.
Priced at $44,685 (tow-away) the dual axle van has a Tare weight of 2025kg and 2425kg ATM.
