Travelling with your dog has never been easier, with many caravan parks now welcoming furry guests with open arms, and hundreds of accessories available to keep Rufus both safe and comfortable when out on the road.
Giving your fur babies some freedom while keeping them restrained at camp, is now a lot easier with the Zippet premium dog restraint for caravanners released earlier this year.
As can be seen in the video below, the Zippet system is purpose built to fit on to a caravan awning, and with minimal set-up time provides a 'zip-line' for your leashed dog to enjoy up to "32 square metres of happy pet frolicking".
The makers of the Zippet claim the set-up is a much nicer option than more conventional means like attaching a short dog lead or rope to a pole, or setting up a small fenced pet-pen.
It all looks built to last, with the 6m long zipline made from quality heavy-duty polyester rope, and the rope tensioner from aluminium, while the 3.0m long lead attaches to a stainless steel ring and snap hook. The kit also includes additional choking rope for the awning pole and tree mounts.
For tent campers Zippet also offers an alternative dog-friendly restraint system that can be screwed into the ground using special pegs.
The Zippet pet restraint is available in a range of colours and priced at $165, with other related products available on the Zippet website including a cord tether, Walkabout lead, and Clippet lead hanger.
