South Australian RV electronics specialist Redarc is riding the off-grid power boom, with the release of a new, feature-packed lithium battery and pure sine wave inverter range for recreational and off-road touring vehicles.
Available in both 12V and 24V across 1200, 2000 and 3000W capacities, Redarc says its new RS3 Inverters deliver “game-changing functionality” including built-in Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) for “seamless, reliable transition between battery and mains power”.
The new Redarc RS3 Inverters are also said to operate up to 75 per cent quieter than comparable models.
“Thanks to their improved surge capacity (200 per cent higher and for twice as long as comparable inverters), smaller inverters can power more demanding appliances. Meaning, by downsizing their inverter, users can save valuable space and reduce weight,” the company says.
Redarc claims its new Alpha150 150Ah lithium battery is also superior to many rival products, and offers a lifespan of over 5000 charge cycles.
“The market leader in power density, Alpha150 offers up to 70 per cent more capacity for its size and 30 per cent more capacity per kg when compared to equivalent lithium batteries.
“The Alpha150 is made in the Netherlands and includes an IP56 rating and built-in heater functionality so it can be charged in the harshest conditions. Furthermore, built-in Bluetooth connectivity and the companion app deliver real-time battery-level information.”
“Powering these inverters, the Alpha150 packs 150Ah of power into a 15.5kg package that can deliver 2560 watts continuously. Alpha150 powers your inverters without multiple bulky batteries.”
The new Redarc RS3 Inverters are priced from $1499 to $3297, while the Alpha150 battery is priced at $3099 on the Redarc website.
