The Australian manufacturer of the popular MaxTrax recovery planks has released a new range of off-road recovery kits to help adventurers safely recover their vehicles.
Built with the same attention-to-detail and eye-catching design ethos as the multi-coloured and multi-sized MaxTrax plank range, the portable recovery systems easily pack away in the main vehicle or camper and consist of a soft shackle-only hitch receiver, winch ring, a collection of soft shackles, different length kinetic and static ropes, as well as a tethered dampener which are all stored in a MaxTrax kit bag.
"By reducing the amount of metal components and engineering a designated failure point if overloaded, the MaxTrax Recovery System is built with safety as your number one priority," the company says.
Two kits are available, the Bush Kit and the Beach kit, with choice depending on the type of off-roading and narrowness of the tracks typically encountered.
The MaxTrax Bush Recovery Kit includes the recovery kit bag, two fuse shackles, five core shackles, three different length kinetic ropes (2m, 3m and 5m), a 3m static rope and a rope dampener.
Designed more for open spaces and coastal driving, the MaxTrax Beach Recovery Kit includes a recovery kit bag, two fuse shackles, three core shackles, a 10m kinetic rope, 3m static rope and a rope dampener.
The MaxTrax Beach Recovery Kit is priced online at $699, with the MaxTrax Bush Recovery Kit at $899.
