Uniden's just released 2-Watt UH825 handheld radios, are designed for rugged conditions and boast optimised sound quality and reception.

Uniden says the 2-watt maximum TX output power delivers clear communication over distances of up to 13km, while its long-life 2000mAh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 23 hours of usage. Priced at $129.95 each, or $279.95 for the Tradie pack.

Redarc Smart Battery Monitor

Redarc Electronics has just released an all-new Smart Battery Monitor, which it claims is the most accurate battery monitor on the market with up to five-times more accuracy under the most common operating conditions.

It also connects to the RedVision Smartphone App via Bluetooth, with up to 42m of range and twice the transfer speed of competitors, according to the South Australian electronics manufacturer.

Projecta Semi-Flexible Solar Panels

Projecta's latest range of 12V Semi-Flexible Solar Panels are available in two models: a 12V 100W unit ideal for small and medium appliances, and a larger 12V 180W variant which is designed to charge battery banks servicing multiple or large appliances.

Both models feature high efficiency monocrystalline solar cells, and a 400mm maximum bending radius to help with mounting them on different surfaces.
