New gear: FullStop Wheel Clamps
Two new hardened steel wheel clamps to deter caravan thieves released by Purpleline AustraliaLeading caravan security supplier Purpleline Australia has released two new anti-theft products designed to keep your precious caravan safe from opportunistic thieves.
Described as a "perfect fusion of convenience and security for your twin axle (caravan)", the new FullStop Gemini Wheel Clamp incorporates two high-security locks that effectively "weld your wheels together".
The bright orange painted device is constructed from hardened, high-strength composite steel, and includes a 7-Pin cylinder lock that Purpleline says is resistant to cutting, picking, drilling and freezing. It also comes with three anti-copy tubular keys for added security.
"What sets Gemini apart is its effortless installation. Thanks to a receiver nut attachment, setting up has never been quicker or easier. Spend less time worrying about security and more time enjoying the journey," the company says.
Purpleline has also released another high-strength wheel clamp security device for caravans and camper trailers, called the FullStop Nemesis Pro.
Also designed to be quick and easy to install and finished in high visibility orange, the FullStop Nemesis Pro utilises a receiver nut that attaches to the wheel, and covers the wheel nuts to prevent wheel removal.
It's suitable for steel and alloy wheels of all sizes, and is also made from hardened, high-strength composite steel to make it very difficult for thieves to cut through or remove. It comes with an anti-theft 7-Pin cylinder lock and three anti-copy tubular keys too.
The FullStop Gemini Wheel Clamp is priced at $368.99 and the FullStop Nemesis Pro at $468.99, on the Purpleline website.
