After selling more than 35,000 copies of his first cookbook Fire To Fork, popular campfire cook and Youtube influencer Harry Fisher has collated more than 70 new and original recipes for his second campfire cookbook - Fire II Fork: More Camp Cooking.
Due to go on sale on December 1, 2024, Fire II Fork will include a number of stand-out meals such as No Skills Beef Stew, Bang Bang Shrimp, and Food For Hangovers, plus a collection of tempting cocktails. There will also be quick meals and ideas for sides like Fisher's decadent Potato Salad or Potato Bake.
Other recipes among the 200 pages include Not-crap Nachos, Proper Pizza, Hotdog Damper, Epic Pulled Pork, and Kentucky Fried Parmi.
To make things easy all the ingredients required for the recipes in the new book are readily available in supermarkets or from butchers, even those located in remote Aussie towns.
"Fire II Fork is heavily influenced by the food I grew up eating while camping in south-west Western Australia. I've done my best to ensure it's filled with hearty, familiar recipes that we usually only eat at home or at a restaurant," Fisher explained.
Fisher's latest book is again published by Wollongong-based Exploring Eden Media.
