Another bare-bones Aussie-built toy hauler camper has hit the market, with Adelaide's Offline Campers rolling out a new entry-level 'boys' toys' trailer called the Ryder LT.
Entering the line-up as a cheaper alternative to the more feature-packed Ryder toy hauler, the new Ryder LT is basically a stripped-back version of the Ryder, with a 1140kg payload and the ability to carry up to three dirt bikes on its platform deck.
It comes standard with basic camping gear like a slide-out Dometic 95L fridge and freezer and a Redarc GoBlock 100Ah lithium battery pack, along with a solar input and a 50A DC-DC charger.
Designed for serious off-road use, it also gets a hot dipped galvanised chassis and an extended drawbar, Cruisemaster's AT coil suspension and DO-35 coupling, and an ARK XO750 jockey wheel, while additional storage includes a front toolbox and spots for four 20L jerry cans and two 4kg gas bottles.
Raptor/checker treadplate, folding deck ramps and tie-downs are also included as part of the rear 'garage'.
"While we love the all-in versatility of the Offline Ryder, our team felt there was another option buried within, that had different potential. Enter the Ryder LT," Offline Campers said on Facebook.
The Ryder LT's open deck measures 1.8m x 2.3m, but there's the option to extend it out to 3.4m and increase the payload to 1500kg to accommodate side-by-side and quad bikes, as well as add an optional drawbar mount for another motorbike.
Other options available include water tanks with a 12V pump, airbag suspension, rear recovery points, a reversing camera, recovery boards and extra storage.
The base Tare is 760kg, with an ATM of 1900kg or 2499kg depending on the configuration. Pricing starts at $26,500, or less than half the cost of the Ryder ($57,500) which gets a lot more camping kit including a slide-out kitchen.
