Melbourne manufacturer JB Caravans has released a new 18ft 6in, 3500kg ATM, tandem-axle variant of its Gator X off-grid caravan model.
The new off-road couples' 'vans are priced from $138,700 and available with three different layouts -- all with front island queen bed, rear ensuite and central kitchen, and either a cafe dinette, L-shaped dinette or club lounge.

The new tandem-axle Gator X full-height vans come loaded up for extended off-road and off-grid camping, with Cruisemaster ATX Level 3 airbag suspension, Starlink 'pass through' connectivity, twin 110L fresh water tanks, and a 5kW Ecoflow lithium battery system with 3600W inverter and 800W rooftop solar.

Also fitted as standard is AL-KO ABS trailer sway control, Raptor-coated chassis and toolboxes, and a Dometic DRS, while interior highlights include a 224L compressor fridge, full oven and microwave, a rooftop air conditioner, 3kg wall-mount washing machine, Fusion Bluetooth stereo, and 24in Smart TV... not to mention two 12V fans, inverter power points, bevelled stone-effect benchtops and diamond leather upholstery.

Buyers can choose from traditional stucco aluminium or smooth Alucomp exterior walls.
Priced from $125,100, JB's Gator X single-axle 'vans are currently available in 16ft, 17ft and 18ft body lengths, with the choice of six different layouts.
