Fresh Coromal vans hit the road

Tourism Holdings Limited has officially announced the arrival of its latest Walkinshaw-built range of Coromal caravans, which are available in the same three-model range as the previous Coromal range built by Majestic Caravans.

As announced in January, the MY2024 Coromal range are now being built in the New Age Caravans factory in Melbourne, with the latest Coromal models making their first public appearance at the 2024 NSW Caravan Supershow on the Sydney RV stand in April.

Sporting a fresh exterior look, the MY24 Coromal range remain sharply priced, from $64,990 (before on-road costs) for the entry-level 2020kg Tare/2420kg ATM, 16ft Soul Seeker couple's touring van, to $93,990 RRP for the 21ft, 2552kg/3125kg Thrill Seeker semi-off road family bunk van.

All up, there are 12 layouts available in the MY24 Coromal range, with the Soul Seeker touring model available in 16ft, 18ft and 19ft, twin berth ensuite layouts, and the Adventure Seeker available in 18ft, 19ft and 21ft family ensuite layouts.

The top-spec Coromal Thrill Seeker is available in both 16ft, 18ft and 19ft couple's layouts and 18ft, 19ft and 21ft family layouts.

All 12 Coromal variants come relatively well equipped, with standard features including an internal shower and toilet plus an outside shower, a 100Ah AGM battery and 200W rooftop solar panel, 110L fresh water tank, four hob cooktop and microwave, 20L water heater, two 9kg gas bottles, a rooftop air conditioner, 170L three-way fridge-freezer, 3kg wall mounted washing machine, and a TV and Bluetooth stereo.

They're all built using traditional Meranti frame construction, on a Walkinshaw hot dipped galvanised chassis and with smooth aluminium composite panels and checker plate for the external cladding.

The latest Coromal Thrill Seeker model comes with Cruisemaster CRS independent trailing arm coil suspension and a DO-35 coupling, with leaf springs and a 50mm ball coupling fitted to the Soul Seeker and Adventure Seeker.

Nine MY24 Coromal caravans will be on display at the 2024 Queensland Caravan Supershow (June 5-9), with some show deals available including free upgrades if you sign up at the show.
