New Melbourne-built, four-berth shower/toilet van from $57,000The born-again Franklin brand (now built by Melbourne's Concept) has launched a new model to complement its Core range, with a 17ft 6in four berth shower/toilet van recently breaking cover at the Sydney Caravan Expo.
The Core 176’s changes over the Core 175 include a rear nearside rather than front nearside door, and centre L-shaped lounge (that converts to a double bed). As with the 175, the new model has a central kitchen and a full-width bathroom with separate shower toilet at the rear.
The new Franklin Core caravan has a 1932kg Tare, 2332kg ATM and ball weight is 155kg.
The Core 176 was advertised with a drive-away price of $56,990. which included wanted features like a wall-mounted washing machine, 190-litre fridge, 24in LED TV, air-conditioning, 100A/h battery and 160watt solar capacity.
