New budget-priced Ezytrail caravans go on sale

New 10ft and 13ft MK2 Winton full-height ensuite caravans priced from $35,990

Looking for a wallet-friendly, lightweight and compact full-height caravan with plenty of big 'van features?

Well, major Aussie RV importer Ezytrail has just released a couple of new options for budget buyers, with new 'MK2' Winton 10ft and Winton 13ft on-road caravans just hitting the dealerships, priced from $35,990 and $41,990 respectively (plus delivery and on-road costs)

New 1600kg ATM Winton 13 is priced from $41,900

Featuring a more Australian caravan-like boxy shape than the original curvy Euro-style MKI Winton models, the new entry-level compact 'vans are built using a composite body construction comprising PET sandwich panel walls, a one-piece roof and Holypan PP composite floor, with a similar PET plastic material used for the internal cabinetry.

Slide-out kitchen is a $2000 option on both new models

Underpinnings include a galvanised chassis running independent torsion suspension with shock absorbers, along with 10in electric drum brakes, 14in alloy wheels and a 50mm ball coupling.

Externally, both 10ft and 13ft MK2 Winton models also come standard with a powered awning, gas bayonet, 4kg gas bottle holder, drop-down picnic table and external TV connections.

Also included on both 'vans is a 120Ah lithium battery system with 100W rooftop solar, and an 80L fresh water tank, with an 80L grey water tank and additional battery and 200W solar available as options.

Inside, both 'vans feature a kitchenette with 80L internal fridge and freezer, an induction cooktop and benchtop sink with mixer tap, a cassette toilet and shower cubicle, and a 2.2kW rooftop air conditioner, gas/electric hot water unit, 24in Smart TV, Bluetooth audio system, two 12V fans and wireless smartphone chargers.

Both 'vans also get front dinette/lounges that convert to double beds -- a 1380mm x 2000m east-west bed in the case of the Winton 10, and a 2000mm x 2000mm north-south bed for the Winton 13, which can also be set up with twin single beds.

Other options available include an external slide-out kitchen, diesel heater, microwave and an annexe.

Ensuite in the Winton 13

Both 2.25m wide x 2.75m high 'vans are designed for easy towing, with a base Tare of 1185kg, 95kg ball weight and 1500kg ATM for the Winton 10, and from 1285kg Tare, 1600kg ATM, and 125kg ball weight for the Winton 13.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for an even sharper deal, Ezytrail is doing a run-out special on remaining stock of its MKI Winton 10 caravan -- with pricing reduced by $7000, down to $24,990 plus on-road costs.
