Another Australian-built teardrop camper is set to make its debut at the 2022 Let's Go Caravan and Camping Show, at the Adelaide Showground from July 27-31.
While there were few details available pre-show on the official website, a short video posted on social media provides a sneak peak of what to expect with the new Friday Trailer Co model, which features a traditional teardrop design incorporating a rear lift-up kitchen area, side doors and windows and enough room inside for a double mattress and some storage cupboards.
The compact, lightweight campers will be custom-built at a workshop in the foothills of Adelaide, including extensive use of baltic birch for the crafted wooden cabinetry around the sleeping and kitchen areas.
The new Friday Trailer Co business will be one of around 50 RV brands on display at the Adelaide show, and more than 100 exhibitor sites showcasing some of the latest caravans, campers and motorhomes, along with RV-related accessories and services.
There will also be free seminars every day at the show on the Wayville Entertainment Stage, covering topics including Outback communications, camp cooking with a Thermomix, and safer towing.
Other on-site entertainment includes Outback Classroom educational workshops for the kids, with classes on Aboriginal art, stargazing, basket weaving and bush survival.
Showgoers also have the chance to win prizes including a $500 fuel card and canoe adventure in the Big Lap competition.
