New ARB front and underbody protection
Keep your offroader in one piece with some extra-body protection from the Melbourne-based manufacturer
ARB has released a couple of new products to help protect your off-roader’s front end and underbody.
New under vehicle protection kits from the Aussie company help protect vital components that could be susceptible to damage from debris such as rocks and stumps when driving in challenging off road terrain.
Manufactured from pressed and folded 3mm laser cut steel for optimum strength to weight ratio, the panels bolt directly to the chassis to protect underbody components including steering, engine sump, transmission and transfer case.
The steel components are zinc plated or powder coated in a silver textured finish, and can be removed for vehicle servicing. The kits have been extensively field tested and are available for a range of vehicles.
ARB has also released a range of alloy nudge bars. Lighter in weight than the company’s steel versions, the alloy bars can be fitted to a variety of compact and medium sized SUVs.
Features include an air bag compatible mounting system, 76mm polished aluminium main tube, and bolt on brushed stainless steel lower splash pan. The steel components are protected with either black powder coat or zinc plating.
Pricing starts at $520 for the nudge bars while the underbody protection kits are priced from $413.
