New Age ups warranty
Big-selling Melbourne manufacturer extends new van cover to three yearsNew Age caravans built from next month will come with a three-year structural warranty and free 12-months roadside assistance, the Melbourne-based manufacturer has announced.
It’s the latest customer-oriented move by the fast growing manufacturer which builds up to 2000 vans a year and is on track to become one of Australia’s biggest RV brands.
Along with the free one-year 24 hour roadside assistance program introduced earlier this year, New Age has been rapidly converting to single franchise dealerships and introduced a $500 cash-back offer to existing owners who refer a family or friend that buy a van.
According to a statement on the New Age website, the company says it is “confident and proud of the caravans manufactured. With extensive works across the board to ensure build processes and products are of the highest quality, New Age Caravans offer the best products on the market to ensure owners can travel in luxury, comfort and style to create memories that last a lifetime”.
New Age’s extended warranty exceeds the standard 12 month cover offered by rivals Jayco and Coromal/Windsor. However, both Jayco and Coromal/Windsor offer longer free, roadside assist programs of three years.
Following the recent introduction of new layouts in its Gecko ‘expander’ range, New Age is set to continue rolling out new models in 2018, including an updated version of its Road Tripper camper trailer first revealed in late-2016.
The Road Tripper ‘MK2’ is expected to arrive next year with a new name and upgraded features including the possibility of the first power-assisted pop-top roof on a New Age model.
