Melbourne's Lotus Caravans is celebrating its 20th year of manufacturing with a new 2024 range of updated '20th anniversary' off-road and touring models.
Continuing its pioneering 'tough van' look, all models in the latest 2024 range now come with Lotus' signature 'Stealth' decals, including the luxury on-road models, along with a special-edition 20 Year Anniversary logo.
"This logo elevates the look of the range, whilst adding a special touch to signify our pride of reaching this 20-year milestone. We believe these are our best-looking caravans to date," Lotus Caravans' marketing manager Chris Holland said.
Among other 2024-model updates, all Trooper, Off Grid and Freelander off-road models as well as Lotus' top-spec on-road vans are now powered by a full REDARC electrical system, including a RedVision control unit with 600Ah lithium battery pack, 3000W inverter, and 1000W rooftop solar panels.
The latest 2024 Lotus Trooper off-roaders also now come standard with an aluminium body frame, along with Cruisemaster ATX air bag suspension, a 2300W induction cooktop, wireless chargers and a duplex oven.
Lotus' Off Grid and Freelander models have also been boosted with a 400Ah lithium battery pack including 3000W inverter, along with Cruisemaster XT airbag suspension and full underbody protection. Lotus has also added five new Off Grid floorplans and one new Freelander layout to the range.
Lotus' Off Limits models also receive an off-grid camping boost for 2024 including a REDARC RedVision system with 600Ah lithium batteries, 3000W inverter, and 800W rooftop solar, along with the addition of a Thetford duplex oven, 2300W induction cooktop and BOS370 Blackops jockey wheel.
Lotus' luxury laden Hollywood, Transformer and Crystal River models have also been amped up with a Redarc 3000W inverter, and up to 400Ah lithium batteries and 800W rooftop solar, depending on the model.
Lotus has also added six new floorplans to its off-road range in 2024, including a new 23ft 5in dual-living quarter layout, available in Trooper and Off Grid models.
"This is the perfect layout for families with growing children or for blokes who find themselves in the dog-house regularly when they’re on the road," he said.
The new 2024 Lotus Caravans range will also see the re-introduction of a new entry-level Sprint off-road model - the Sprint name was a mainstay of the original Lotus caravans' line-up before the model was discontinued a few years ago.
Holland said the new 2024 Lotus Sprint will ride on a G&S/AL-KO International chassis with AL-KO Enduro X independent suspension and 12in off-road brakes, and be set up for off-grid camping with a 200Ah Enerdrive lithium battery system with 500W rooftop solar and twin 95 litre water tanks.
It will also boast a "signature Lotus Caravans fit-out" including Italian leather upholstery, interlocking cabinetry, instant hot water unit and an external entertainment pack, and be suitable for towing by 3500kg rated dual cab utes.
"The Sprint promises to open up Lotus Caravans ownership and community to an even broader audience in 2024," he said.
Some of the new 2024 Lotus models are now on display at dealers, including a fully kitted out 21ft, 4000kg ATM, Trooper family quad bunk van at Melbourne's Freestyle RVs, currently priced at $173,580.
