Aussie specialist targets RV enthusiasts with new hi-tech range of driving lights and rear lamps
Automotive lighting specialist Narva has released a number of new and improved products for the RV market.
Narva’s range of Extreme auxiliary driving lamps for off-road vehicles has been updated with the latest lighting technology for improved performance.
The rugged Extreme lamps now come with internally mounted Gen 5 - 45W H.I.D Ballast and the D1 Globe, resulting in around 10 percent more light. According to Narva the new globes deliver “brighter whiter light with increased colour temperature whilst retaining lower power consumption expected of H.I.D technology”.
The D1 Globes also improve initial ignition time to around three seconds with instantaneous re-ignition.
The Extreme lamps have a three bolt system for secure mounting, are water-tight for deep water crossings, and come in a variety of styles and configurations.
Narva has also released a new range of rear lamps designed for motor homes and caravans. The Model 43 lamps cover a range of budget options with a choice of 130mm or larger 150mm contoured base with amber, red or white lamps each with polycarbonate lenses.
Entry level models have the latest L.E.D lighting, while the 12 volt 130mm lamps are available with a white base and 0.3m of non-sheathed cable making them suitable for caravans.
A multi-voltage option is also available in the 130mm range with a black base and 0.5m of sheathed cable.
All lamps in the series are fitted with an integrated mounting gasket and are rated IP66 and IP67, also making them suitable for commercial applications.
Narva has also released a small compact series of Model 41 rear combination trailer lamps designed around its Model 42 series.
The Model 41 lamps utilise high performance L.E.Ds and feature tough polycarbonate lenses, multi-voltage circuitry, stainless steel hardware, and come sonically sealed with 0.5m of hard wired cable.
The fully ADR and ‘E’ compliant lamps with IP Ratings IP66 and IP68 are available in single, double and triple housing combinations with direction indicator, stop, tail and reverse lamp functions making them suited to a wide range of trailer applications.
