There are few caravan shows to debut a new caravan model at the moment, so Melbourne's Lotus has done the next best thing: lent its latest 2021-model Lotus Hollywood luxury caravan to American actor, Zac Efron.
The Highschool Musical actor has been based in South Australia filming a new Australian film called Gold.
Spotted on his Instagram this week, the imposing 24ft double slide-out model is notably the same brand of luxury caravan the Hemsworth brothers were using for their #vanlife getaway.
“Home sweet home. Thanks, @lotus_caravans #setlife #goldmovie,” Efron posted while pictured casually chilling next to the $140,000-odd Melbourne-built caravan.
Unlike the Hemsworth's caravan though, it is understood that the 16-year-old caravan builder lent this one out to Efron for his stay in outback SA while filming.
Previously marketed under the Universal nameplate, the heavyweight van is aptly named the Hollywood and is said to be their most luxurious model yet, with an oversized living area boasting Italian leather upholstery, three Samsung TVs, premium-grade benchtops and a spacious bathroom.
The contemporary furniture and fittings, fully equipped kitchen and pillow top mattress all combine to deliver a "blockbuster performance", according to Lotus.
