More off-grid options for 2023 Jayco range

400Ah lithium battery system and anti-lock brakes now available on Jayco All-Terrain caravans

Australia’s biggest selling RV manufacturer Jayco has released details of its 2023 model range online, with many of its caravan, camper trailer and motorhome models benefitting from the addition of more safety features, improved off-grid capabilities, and enhanced interior and exterior designs.

After launching its first Off Grid-X caravan last year, the Off Grid-X package is now available across three Jayco All-Terrain caravan layouts for 2023, with plans to expand to other models later this year.

There’s also a new top-spec Off Grid-X option available to allow owners to stay even longer off the grid which includes a 400AH lithium battery, three 200W solar panels with a 40AH solar controller, 180A charging, 3000W inverter and Intelli-Jay High Power management system.

Lithium battery upgrade options are also now available on many Jayco models.

Jayco has also added a new water filler plumbing console across the 2023 range, which helps protect plumbing outlets, improves internal cupboard space, and adds a pressure fill inlet for quick water tank filling.

Jayco has also added the option of fitting an anti-lock braking system to its All-Terrain caravan and Pop-Top models, while All-Terrain models also benefit from suspension tweaks including larger shock absorbers.

Meanwhile, the top-spec Silverline caravan range gets "an all-new look" for 2023, including revised front and rear moulding with the addition of automotive style tail-lights, new decals and an updated premium interior with one-piece composite PET floor.

Wren two-berth model is the latest addition to Jayco’s wind-up camper trailer range

After soft launches last year, the Wren camper trailer and Jpod-X pod camper have been included as regular production models in the 2023 Jayco line-up.

“The trend of off-grid RVing continues to grow, so we have kept this in mind when working on improvements and innovation in our solar and battery offerings across the range as well as the introduction of the Off Grid-X upgrade,” Jayco National Sales Manager Scott Jones said.

There have been minimal price rises across the Australian-built Jayco RV range, with the range kicking off at $23,590 for the Swift wind-up camper trailer, and topping out at $277,900 for the 29ft Iveco-based Optimum motorhome.
