More Easter caravan bargains

It’s not only the Easter bunny that's delivering sweet surprises this holiday period, with many manufacturers and dealers seeking to offload slow-moving and 2018-plated stock at significantly discounted prices.

Earlier this month we reported a few of the enticing deals currently going around, from the likes of New Age, Coromal, Sunseeker, Avida, Jayco and Bailey, but now there are a few more to consider if you're keen on grabbing a bargain...

JB Caravans 2018 Plate Clearance Sale

Top-10 Australian caravan manufacturer JB is hoping to clear its dealer yards around the country of old stock, recently announcing a big 2018 Plate Clearance Sale across its range of touring and off-road caravans.

Prices have been slashed by up to $7000 across many of its models including Milano, Dreamtime, Gator, Scorpion and Marlin, in a range of body sizes available from 17 to 23ft.

As an example, a 2018-built 17ft composite Marlin similar to the one reviewed by caravancampingsales earlier this year is currently available for $49,990 drive-away from JB’s Sydney dealer, while JB’s West Australian, Victorian and NSW dealers are offering up to $15,000 off the price of top-spec 23-24ft Milano Grande rough road models (reduced to $122-124,000).

Green RV Green Light Sale

Nationwide dealer Green RV is offering savings of up to $10,000 on selected models at its Sunshine Coast outlet, as part of its latest Green Light Sale. In fact, the ad goes as far as saying that “no reasonable offer will be refused, as long as cost is covered deal will be accepted”.

On offer at its Forest Glen yard are a number of Victorian-built Regent caravans, ranging from a 19ft 6in Regent Pantry Off Road priced at $64,900, to a big 23ft 6in Regent Rear Club Lounge caravan advertised at $71,990.

There are also deals to be had on Green RV’s sporty Nextgen line-up, from a compact 14ft 6in Nextgen X Line reduced by $9000 to $59,990, to a big 21ft Nextgen Streamline Family van with massive one tonne payload advertised at $56,500.

More deals on wheels

Search hard enough among the 10,000-plus RV listings on caravancampingsales, and you'll uncover a few more caravan steals...

For example, Lotus’ Melbourne dealer is offering a $5000 discount on a 2018-plated 22ft triple bunk Freelander van (reduced to $89,865 drive-away), and a similar discount on a lime green 14ft Lotus Off Grid hybrid advertised at $70,662.

Franklin’s Victorian dealer has also reduced the price of a 2018-build Franklin Razor 20ft 6in touring van by $5000 to $56,990, while a 2018-plate Franklin Core 220 with three bunks, is priced to sell at $59,990.

Dometic Factory Seconds Sale

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a portable fridge or other electronic camping accessory, big savings are available as part of the latest Dometic Factory Seconds sale.

Available online while stocks last, the sale includes current and superseded portable fridge/freezers, in most sizes and capacities from the big dual compartment Dometic Waeco 95 litre CFX 95DZW (now $1100, a saving of $649), to the Dometic 60 litre MCF60, which can be bought for almost half the RRP at $400.

There are also big savings available on a number of portable fridge accessories, iceboxes, upright RV fridge/freezers, solar panels, power packs, washing machines and portable toilets.
