Hot on the heels of its first off-grid campervan, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 based Explorer LX, Avida has rolled out three new on-road models as it continues to celebrate its 60th year in the motorhome business.
Revealed for the first time at the 2025 Victorian Caravan Supershow, the fresh metal includes the new entry-level Fiat Ducato-based Trek campervan, which had an advertised starting price of $144,998 drive-away.
The 6.365m long pop-top camper can sleep up to four people with a layout that includes a rear bed (and optional rooftop bed), along with swivel front seats, front dinette, combination shower/toilet, and a kitchenette.
Standard features include twin 4kg gas bottles, 80L fresh and 100L grey water tanks, a roof-mounted air-conditioner, compressor fridge, gas-electric hot water, twin-burner gas cooker, microwave, Smart TV, and a 120Ah lithium battery system with 250W solar.
Avida has also released a new Iveco Daily-based motorhome called the Beechworth, priced from around $200,000 drive-away with either twin single bed or an island double bed layout.
The 7.8 metres long 'low-roof' motorhome is built on the rear-wheel drive Iveco 50-180 ELWB chassis, and can be driven on a car licence with a GVM of 4495kg.
It shapes up as a spacious and comfortable 'grey nomad' tourer with highlights including a large central bathroom with separate shower and toilet, and a good-sized kitchen with a four burner cooker, large sink with mixer and filtered taps, microwave and a big fridge/freezer.
The Avida Beechworth also gets TV and audio entertainment units, a 120Ah AGM battery with 420W rooftop solar, and 100L fresh and 100L grey water tanks as standard.
Sharply priced from $189,998 drive-away, the 6.885m long Avida Bruny is another new low-roof motorhome based on the rear-drive Iveco 50-180 ELWB chassis.
It comes with similar standard features to the Beechworth, but with a different interior layout that includes a drop-down bed over a stylish rear club lounge/dinette section, and a separate shower and toilet located more towards the front, plus a kitchen with plenty of benchspace.
The new models boost Avida's range to four campervans and seven different motorhomes in total, with Avida planning to add another seven new models to the range in 2025, including a new Fiat Ducato-based Avida Silverton motorhome.
Like all 60th Anniversary Avida motorhomes, the new models are backed by a special five-year factory warranty, roadside assistance and capped price servicing program.
