Jayco ripped the covers off a couple more 50th Anniversary surprises at the just-run 2025 NSW Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow at Sydney's Rosehill Gardens.
For the first time Jayco has added the option of both a 48V off-grid power system and airbag suspension to its latest All Terrain caravan line-up, while Australia's biggest as well as one of its oldest RV manufacturers is also doing a limited run of retro-style, Dove 50th Anniversary wind-up camper trailers.
Fitted to an MY25 All Terrain 19.61-2 caravan at the show, the new Projecta 48V off-grid power system includes an under-slung 105Ah lithium battery (equivalent to around 12V 400Ah), a 4000W inverter-charger, 30amp DC-DC charger, 30A MPPT solar controller, 75A AC charger and four 250W rooftop solar panels -- enough according to Jayco to run on-board appliances including the rooftop air conditioner, induction cooktop, and convection oven/microwave.
Also fitted with the latest JTech Air airbag suspension developed with Cruisemaster and Pedders, a re-designed front toolbox and fresh decals (and optioned up with leather upholstery, a diesel heater and a slide-out external kitchen), the 19ft tandem axle All Terrain 48V show van had tow-away pricing of $111,628.
Meanwhile, based on the discontinued Dove model that was sold at Jayco dealers for more than 35 years, the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition canvas camper is being marketed as a "true collector’s classic" and stands out with a unique burgundy tent section and matching decals.
Just 50 of the eye-catching Dove campers will be available for sale. Keep an eye on the Jayco website for full details and pricing.
