Are you the sort of person who hates leaving their motorized toys at home when you go on holiday?
Well, as long as you have a suitable truck licence and are prepared to bypass most caravan parks – and are willing to pay the price for the ‘ultimate toy hauler tourer’ – there’s a unique and very impressive RV rig currently for sale in Western Australia.
Designed to go (almost) anywhere, the eye-catching rig includes a luxury motorhome 'tow vehicle' built by NSW-based Jacana Motorhomes. The rugged 2010-model MAN 4x4 truck platform includes front, centre and rear diff locks for slippery conditions, while the motorhome body is constructed from polyurethane panels to help keep weight down.
The top-shelf interior fit-out includes driver and passenger ‘arm chairs’ up front, along with a queen size island bed and a dining table that folds down to create another double bed.
Finished throughout in stylish wood paneling, other luxuries include a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with separate shower, vacuum toilet and combination washing machine/dryer, an automatic satellite dish, ducted vacuum system, central heating and two air conditioners, a generator and electric awning,
However, just as impressive is the custom alloy trailer, built by West Australia’s Duralite Trailers. With two levels as well as open and closed sections, the tandem axle trailer was designed to carry a large aluminium trailerboat on top, with a Suzuki Jimny-sized 4WD SUV and CanAm quad bike below.
There’s also an enclosed garage on the lower level big enough for two Harley Davidson motorcycles or three dirt bikes.
What’s more, the custom toy trailer is equipped with a 100 litre water tank and 12V powered tap, plus a 140 litre fuel tank with bowser to keep all the motorized toys topped up.
There's also a hot water hose on the drawbar to wash down all the grime after a hard day's playing, while a number of built-in ramps help get the motorised toys on and off safely.
The trick trailer rides on adjustable airbag suspension, and also features a storage box for helmets and other gear, a seating platform and a second generator.
All up 'replacement cost' for this unique rig is a claimed $1.5 million. However, you'll still need a fat cheque for the severely discounted, advertised 'used' price of $469,000, which doesn’t include any of the bikes, boat, or car pictured.
