Molly Taylor hitches up with New Age

She may be more accustomed to hurtling through the bush at warp speed, but professional rally driver and world-class athlete Molly Taylor is set to enjoy an altogether more relaxed pace as she heads off in a New Age caravan.

The driving talent has signed on as a brand ambassador for Australian caravan manufacturer, New Age Caravans, and will be hitting the road in a series of New Age models, using them as a base for her Australian Rally Championship campaign or simply enjoying the best that touring this country has to offer.

For those with even a passing interest in motorsport, Taylor needs no introduction. But for those outside the arena, she has amassed an impressive collection of accolades that belie her years.

She was the inaugural winner of the Extreme E Championship, a five-race global series, in 2021, and the youngest and first female winner of the Australian Rally Championship, in 2016. If that wasn't enough, in 2022 she was the first-ever Australian woman to contest the gruelling Dakar Rally.

However, the motorsports star says there’s plenty more to come, so keep an eye on her progress – and her New Age caravan – as we push further into the year.

“It’s really exciting to be partnering with New Age Caravans,” says Taylor. “It’s no secret I love the outdoors and travelling, so hitching up a New Age Caravan not only for a base at the track, but to escape on a weekend as well, is perfect for me.”

As part of her signing, Tayor recently visited the New Age manufacturer to inspect the facility and meet with the company’s staff.

“Being in the factory recently was a really cool experience,” she says. “Not just to meet everyone, but to see the complete build process from start to finish here in Australia – and the detail and safety features that are included – I was blown away, to be honest.

“We’ve got some really exciting things planned for this year, so stay tuned. I just can’t wait to get out on the road and explore more!”
