In a nod to the company name of its new owners, Millard unveiled its new entry model the MFlow 17ft 6in (5.3m) ensuite four-berth caravan at the Sydney Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo, together with an enticing price of $51,610 drive-away.
The MFlow has the usual Millard signature chassis, frame and body, including a hot-dipped galvanised 4in A-frame and chassis, aluminium frame, one-piece fibreglass composite roof and rear panel and aluminium sheet side panels.
Black checkerplate protection is used around the lower body, and there’s a tunnel boot that can be accessed on both sides via locking hatches.
With a fairly compact 17ft 6in (5.3m) long by 7ft 8in (2.3m) wide body, the Millard MFlow runs on 15in alloy wheels with 235/75R15 tyres, along with 12-inch electric brakes and traditional live axle with leaf springs suspension.
The interior fit-out features CNC-machined cabinetry, a queen-size front island bed, L-shaped dinette (that can be converted to a double bed) and a three-burner gas cooktop in the kitchen.
With a Tare weight of 1872kg and ATM of 2267kg, the MFlow can be towed by medium-size SUVs and some passenger cars. Tow ball download at Tare is 198kg.
Other MFlow standard features include a 110 Amp house battery and 15 amp charger, 160 watt solar panel, 12v LED lighting, CD/MP3 USB AM/FM audio, 95-litre water tank, 28-litre hot water unit, 3.2kg top-loading washing machine, microwave, air-conditioner, three-way 90-litre fridge/freezer, two 9kg gas bottles, separate shower/toilet and a roll-out awning.
The MFlow is expected to feature minor improvements moving forward, such as a front-loading washing machine, which will allow more fixed bench space in what is already a relatively large kitchen area.
Millard also revealed its revised premium Toura range at the Sydney Expo, with new external graphics and decals and internal features like new tapware and minor fixtures.
