
Ingredients:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. It should resemble the consistency of a cake mix. Allow to stand for 15 minutes while you heat up your camp oven. Lightly grease or oil your oven and then pour in the mixture.
Cook over medium coals, top and bottom, adjusting the coals so as not to burn the crust on top. Cook for about 30 minutes, depending on your coals. Be sure to check it regularly. When ready, take the bread out and allow it to cool slightly before cutting.
This will help to keep its shape when cutting the bread. Serves six to eight.
