More than 200 industry leaders from as many as 20 countries are expected to attend the 3rd World RV Conference in Melbourne in early-2015.
To make it more convenient for attendees the major industry event, to be held at Melbourne’s Grand Hyatt hotel from February 25-27, will be immediately followed by the Caravan Industry Association of Australia National Conference ( February 27-March 1) at the same venue.
New timing for the annual Victorian Supershow, which has been pushed forward a month to February 11-16, as well as moved to a new venue, also allows delegates planning a longer stay to attend one of Australia’s biggest caravan shows.
According to the Caravan Industry Association, the “World RV Conference is a chance to bring together executives representing RV manufacturers, RV dealerships, campgrounds/caravan parks, suppliers and industry associations to share market information and explore how industry can work together in an increasingly connected world RV market”.
The three-day program includes an official welcome party and gala dinner, along with two days of sessions conducted by “presenters from around the world speaking about national trends and developments and the global implications they may have”.
Delegates will also have the chance to sign up for factory tours and park visits.
The World RV conference has been previously held in Dusseldorf and Florida, and full, early bird registration for the 2015 event costs $695, or $300 for a social events-only ticket.
“The 3rd World RV Conference represents an opportunity to showcase the Australian RV market to the world while illustrating clearly the challenges associated with distributing product into the Australian market and will go a long way to managing potential import threats,” said Caravan Industry Association of Australia CEO, Stuart Lamont.
Further information and registration forms can be found on the conference website.
