An ‘Innovation Hub’ showcasing cutting-edge recreational vehicle technology, a 'Paw Patch' for dog enthusiasts, an interactive 'Camp Ground and 'Twilight nights' with live music, are just some of the attractions at next month's Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow.
Running for six days from February 20-25 at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Flemington, the first major Australian caravan 'Supershow' for 2018 will offer "something for everyone, from our young people who camp with friends on weekends, families who take short breaks and the senior adventurers who spend their time on the road in their caravan making memories," according to show organisers CIA Vic.
As well as the latest vehicles, products and services on display from hundreds of exhibitors, the dog-friendly 2018 Victorian Supershow will feature a ‘Paw Patch’ tailored to visiting pooches with Dr Katrina Warren talking pet travel tips and entertainment from the Wonderdogs.
A new ‘Camp Ground’ facility will include interactive demonstrations, food, activities and a rest area, which the organisers claim will deliver a "communal meeting place just like the real camp grounds".
As well as 9.30am-5.30pm (5pm on Monday) day sessions, the Supershow will also offer the convenience of 'late night shopping', staying open until 8pm on both the Friday and Saturday.
The major prize in this year's 'Passport to Freedom' competition, which is open to ticketholders who purchase online by January 31, is a Savvy Level remote caravan levelling system, valued at $330.
