The new four-berth Maverick is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis with a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine and six-gear sequential automatic gearbox, and features two permanent double beds: a 2.1m x 1.45m bed in the Luton Peak at the front, and smaller 1.86m x 1.32m bed with innerspring mattress at the rear.
Britz Australia Operations Manager, Damien Shaw, said the 7.17m long Maverick is unique amongst its 11-strong campervan rental fleet because of its four fixed sleeping berths.
"Not only is it the permanent rear bed that makes this four-berther exceptional, but the other homely elements like the spacious bathroom, kitchen complete with 90-litre fridge, and the comfortable and modern living area," Shaw said.
The interior layout includes a four-person dinette, shower/toilet, and kitchen with three-burner gas stove, 90 litre fridge/freezer, and microwave.
Other features designed to make life on the road more enjoyable include a 19inch LCD TV/DVD, air-conditioner, radio/CD player, hot/cold pressurised water, manual awning and portable gas stove.
The Maverick is available from any of Britz’s 11 locations around Australia, with daily rental fees starting from around $135. See the Britz website for further details.
