Lotus has released a new range-topping, 23-foot four-bunk/six-berth shower/toilet family van to take pride of place as the premium model in its now nine-strong Off-Grid range.
Revealed for the first time at the 2019 Sydney Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo, the Off-Grid 23ft family van costs $98,990 and comes with the same key features as other Off Grid models, such as independent off-road suspension and tyres, recovery points, lower body and underbody protection, 190-litre water capacity, grey water tank, two 120A/h batteries, two 170watt solar panels, slide-out external kitchen, cooktop, grill and oven for the internal kitchen and a washing machine.
The heavyweight caravan also has a three-bike rack and wood cage on the rear.
From the front back, the layout consists of a north-south queen bed, centre kitchen/dinette, bunk room and a full-width bathroom.
Meanwhile, Lotus recently doubled its production floorspace by expanding its factory into a neighbouring building near its existing Campbellfield, Victoria address.
"With more space for each caravan to be worked on more efficiently and increased quality control processes, all Lotus Caravans can be fine- tuned to ensure they are built to exceed industry standards," the 15-year-old Melbourne manufacturer said on its website.
