Longstanding premium off-road specialist Lifestyle Campers has joined fellow Queensland RV manufacturers Patriot and Zone RV in introducing its own range of in-house built ute canopies and trays.
The new range of Stylecraft canopies will be available for all popular single and dual-cab ute models and feature all-aluminium construction including the body panels, chassis, adjustable mounts and supporting frames.
As well as full body canopies. Lifestyle is also offering Stylecraft ute trays with quarter, half or three-quarter canopies. They'll be constructed at the same Slacks Creek, Queensland factory where Lifestyle's core range of premium off-road pop-top hybrid campers are manufactured.
It's the first in-house canopy range for Lifestyle Campers, which have been in operation since 2002 and currently offer a range of Australian-built upmarket hard-wall campers for families and couples, ranging in price from around $55,000 to more than $90,000 depending on specification.
Lifestyle Campers boss John Swinglehurst said the aim is have the basic canopy module weigh as little as 230kg, before items like battery systems, water tanks, fridges and other camping accessories are added.
The standard Stylecraft canopy will come fitted out with storage compartments including a rear slide-out drawer and removable toolboxes, along with wheel flares, taillights and holders for any spare wheels and the rego plate. They will be finished in a standard black powdercoat with the option of vehicle colour matching at extra cost.
While the first Stylecraft canopies have been fitted to Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series dual cab utes, Swinglehurst said canopies for other ute models, as well as various custom-built options, will also be available.
Pricing for the Stylecraft canopies will start around $18,000, with a number of optional accessories available including water tank, pump and tap, lighting systems, barriers and dividers, drawer systems and fridge slides, battery and solar systems, fridges and roof racks.
Along with the new Stylecraft ute canopies, Lifestyle also recently introduced new, value packed 'Elite' versions of its R2 and R4 Hypercamper pop-tops, which pack a number of options into the new specced-up models to deliver better value for money to buyers.
