Melbourne custom builder Legend Caravans has unveiled the first of four new triple-axle slide-out models, that will headline the Somerton, Victoria-based manufacturer's upmarket off-road and off-grid caravan range in 2025.

Currently on display at the Legend Caravans' Melbourne showroom, the eye-catching new 27ft family bunk van is dripping with luxury appointments and off-road hardware, including Cruisemaster's top-spec ATX airbag suspension and twin rooftop air-conditioners that can be run off the van's 2.2kW rooftop solar and 48V 10kW lithium battery system, when camping off-the-grid.

Standing out from the pack with its glossy bronze exterior panels and matching alloy wheels, the new 27ft range-topper offers plenty of interior floorspace thanks to an offside slide-out that opens up to provide a decent gap between the east-west parent's bed and the 65in Smart TV and Sonos Soundbar mounted on the wall opposite, and the floor-to-ceiling cabinetry fixed to the front wall.

A well-equipped onside-kitchen also boasts an extra-long benchtop for food preparation, with a very comfy looking club lounge/dinette directly opposite that should easily accommodate a growing family at meal times.
A solid sliding door separates the kids' rear 'bedroom', with its two large bunks with individual windows, from the split bathroom with its separate shower cubicle, vanity and toilet.

Legend is yet to announce full specifications or pricing for its latest MY25 4500kg ATM 27ft slide-out van, but to get a ballpark idea of pricing there's currently a 2024-build 23ft Tycoon Slider listed for sale at $178,000.
The new 27ft slider can be viewed in person at Legend's HQ at 2 Florey Court, Somerton from around mid-January, when the factory re-opens for 2025.
