Capital city-based Queenslanders will finally get the chance to get up close to some of the latest and greatest RVs on the market, when the 'COVID-Safe' Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Outdoor Sale kicks off on October 29 at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Brisbane show-goers missed out on the Queensland Caravan Supershow earlier this year after it was cancelled due to COVID-19, but the four-day Let's Go Brisbane Caravan & Outdoor Sale promises to make up for some of the disappointment with more than 100 exhibitors attending, including a wide range of RV manufacturers and dealers, accessory suppliers and associated businesses.
Organised by Caravanning Queensland, the large outdoor show will also be a chance to see some of the latest caravans, campers and motorhomes on display in the one place for the first time, including the brand new Queensland-built OffTrax camper trailer that will take on the Patriot X1-N and AOR Sierra ZR in the growing premium, homegrown bush camper segment.
Brisbane off-road camper manufacturer Condamine Campers is also expected to roll out its latest ATV toy hauler, which looks similar to the Patriot toy hauler launched around six years ago, and its new lightweight pop-top Compact camper, while also likely at the show are AAV 4x4's latest Gladiator truck toy hauler and Global Xplorer off-road motorhome, both based on tough Fuso Canter 4x4 platforms.
There's also a good chance showgoers will spot the first off-road motorhome from Rhinomax, along with Ezytrail's new Chinese-built touring caravan, MDC's cheap-as-chips bush trailer, and Opus' new entry-level inflatable tent trailer.
Sydney's Avida, Brisbane's Windsor and Melbourne's New Age are also expected to have on display some of their latest caravans and motorhomes, alongside the latest European micro-caravan from Little Gem and teardrop camper from Paradise Motorhomes.
Also fresh off the production line will be Sunseeker's new Vision off-road hybrid campers, while new player Austral Motorhomes will have its latest truck camper, self-contained slide-on motorhome module on display.
Also new from Cardiff, NSW-based Summer Life RV Summer Life will be a range of Xplorer off-road composite caravans, with pricing around $85,000 depending on variant and features fitted.
In the accessories section, Cruisemaster will be spruiking its latest XT suspension and DO-35 and DO-45 couplings, while Dometic should have some of its new range of roof-top tents and other camping accessories on show.
While many of Australia's best known RV brands will be attending, others will be noticeable for their absence with Jayco, Patriot, Kedron and Zone RV missing from the exhibitor list.
When not browsing the exhibitor stands, showgoers can attend a number of free practical and educational sessions scheduled throughout the event, covering a range of topics including towing, reversing, and caravan maintenance. Punters can also scan QR codes located around the grounds for a chance to win some show prizes.
Pets are not welcome but the organisers are putting in place a number of COVIDSafe practices at the show, including tickets only being available for sale online.
