Kovix Alarm Trailer Lock

Australia’s first trailer hitch lock with an alarm system
There are some great security devices on the market to keep thieves away from your caravan, but this is the first heavy-duty trailer hitch lock we’ve heard of in Australia that has its own in-built alarm.
Released by portable lock specialist Kovix Australia, the Alarm Trailer Lock KTR-18 is made of rust- and cut-resistant 304 grade stainless steel and has a Grade 10 (SP) security rating. The lock has been designed so that even if the locking bolt is cut through, it still can’t be removed.
Powered by a lithium battery and featuring weatherproof electronics, the alarm system has a motion sensor that sets off the 120dB alarm; resetting itself after about 10 seconds.
The lock can be fitted to the three main trailer hitch types -- 50mm ball, Treg-style block and off-road DO-35 hitch --- and comes in a neat box with all the required tools and instructions.
It costs $199, which includes postage, from the Kovix Australia website
