Melbourne caravan manufacturer Kokoda is conducting restricted 'red carpet' tours of its ground-breaking new off-grid super-van at the 2025 Victorian Caravan Supershow (Feb 19-23), ahead of an official launch next week of what's shaping up to be Australia's most off-grid capable and priciest caravan to date.
Loaded up with enough next-level features to make it a serious contender for the title of Australia's most expensive caravan, the opulently equipped and fully self-contained, flagship family off-roader is being promoted by Kokoda as "a five-star luxury caravan about to set a new benchmark for remote caravanning".
Latest news: $395,000 Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere unleashed
Based on Kokoda's range-topping Counterstrike (originally Commando) off-grid luxury model, the new Counterstrike Vincere (translation 'to win') boasts an even larger rooftop solar panel slide-out system, with verandah-style, solid metal powered slide-outs that extend out on both sides.
In conjunction with the 'Take Charge 7.3' signage, it suggests a substantially larger solar panel set-up than the already sizable 3300W rooftop array available on the standard Counterstrike. While the Victron Quattro 10,000VA inverter/charger visible inside an offside locker also hints at a significantly bigger lithium battery system than the Counterstrike's already considerable 14.3kWh powerpack.
Kokoka has set up ground mirrors to show off the display van's jam-packed underbody, and provide a clear view of the top-spec Cruisemaster airbag suspension as well as some serious plumbing that joins up to a mysterious-looking sealed A-frame box and nearby locker with unfamiliar large vented 'black box'.
Like the standard Counterstrike with its external washing machine, the Counterstrike Vincere also stands out from the pack with its Fisher & Paykel Dishdrawer dishwasher and Ninja air fryer mounted in the external kitchen, together with a camp fridge and portable Garmin touchscreen manager.
According to Kokoda, the new Counterstrike Vincere is "a fully equipped, ultra-luxury off-grid caravan built all within Australia’s 4.5 tonne tow limits".
The bespoke interior fit-out is currently being kept under wraps, but its plated Tare of 3820kg along with Kokoda's promise of a number of "world and Australian-first features" suggest the wow-factor inside will be on similar level to outside.
Full details including pricing and specifications will be announced on February 25.
