Jayco has updated its flagship Sterling caravan for 2012, including new styling and additional or improved features resulting in a slight price increase across the range.
Externally, the Sterling has new wheels, graphics and offers a provision for external BBQ installation, while the interior adds a new curved kitchen design which incorporates curved seats, sink, drawers and a table.
The 2012 Sterling also gets an improved Thetford swivel toilet and upgraded 150 litre fridge, as well as new standard equipment including a Coast to Coast washing machine and high quality Dometic windows with built in blinds.
The Sterling is priced from $54,550 (not including dealer delivery and on road costs), with the new standard items adding around $2000 to pricing across the range.
The Sterling is available in a range of new and modified layouts, including the option of a double electric slide-out on 21ft to 25ft models.
Its hail dent resistant, fibreglass skinned body is built using an aluminium frame bonded with ply, and sits on a hot dipped galvanised chassis. The furniture is also aluminium framed for increased strength and durability.
The Sterling is Jayco’s best-selling model across its range of caravans, pop-tops, camper trailers and motorhomes, comprising a signficant slice of the 9000-plus annual production from its Dandenong manufacturing facility.
All Sterling vans comes with three-year roadside assistance and a 12 month warranty.
