Jayco has come out on top in the first customer satisfaction award focusing on the Australian RV industry conducted by a consumer review and comparison website.
Based on responses from 607 caravan or motorhome owners, Canstar Blue compared a handful of RV manufacturers in Australia on their value-for-money, interior, features and amenities, after-sale service, ease of towing/driving, cost of running and overall satisfaction.
While Jayco dominated the ratings with multiple five-star results, it shared top spot with Coromal for value-for-money. Coromal ended up with four stars overall, with Avan on three stars in third place.
The RV brands had to receive at least 30 responses to be included in the results, and Canstar said those receiving three stars still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.

“Jayco has dominated our review of Australian caravan and RVs by achieving five stars in six of the seven criteria we assessed. That’s a fantastic result and a strong indicator that Jayco is on track with its customers," Canstar Blue Editor-in-Chief Simon Downes said.
“This is the first time we’ve reviewed the caravan and RV landscape in Australia, because we know this type of holiday and lifestyle is increasing in popularity. And when it comes to big ticket purchases like these, it really pays to know what other consumers just like you think about the biggest brands."
Jayco Australia CEO Garry Moore, said the Canstar Blue award reinforces Jayco’s vision "to produce the best caravans tailored for Australian conditions" as well as providing "another insight into how customers view Jayco".
