Jayco top of the pops

RV giant takes lion’s share of story ‘hits’ in 2017

Not content with selling more RVs in Australia than any other manufacturer (as many as one in three according to all reports), Jayco also gets the ‘most read’ gong as far as articles posted on Caravancampingsales during 2017.

With rivals closing in on all sides, the Dandenong, Victoria-based mega-manufacturer fought hard to hold on to market share in 2017, releasing a bunch of exciting new models and upgrades.

As a result there were plenty of headline grabbers, like the XPLO prototype that took its just-released Adventurer off-roader to a whole new level. All up, three of the 20 most-read articles on Caravancampingsales this year were about Jayco.

Jayco also featured in our top-10 most popular reviews, although the announcement that the consumer watchdog was taking the RV giant to court over alleged mistreatment of customers put a less positive spotlight on the 42-year-old manufacturer.

Take the good with the bad, as they say…
