Jayco has released a more compact, lighter version of its Work 'N Play toy hauler caravan, designed for those with less capable tow vehicles who enjoy action-packed holidays.
Part of its updated 2012 range, the new 14 foot Work 'N Play has the ability to store surf boards, dirt bikes, wave runners, fishing gear in its rear garage area while still accomodating four people.
Jayco says the smaller model has a lower towing weight than its larger 17 foot counterpart (1480kg compared to 1830kg Tare); making the Work ‘N Play accessible to owners of smaller non-4WD cars such as the Holden Commodore Wagon.
The 14ft model comes with a new interior including a choice of three Laminex bench tops, new furniture fabric designs and full height kitchen splashbacks.
It also features a small dining table, stainless steel sink, cooktop, pantry/wardrobe and Thetford fridge (but no shower), while options extend to external speakers, solar panels and air-conditioning.
Like other Jayco vans, the Work 'N Play is constructed from a strong aluminium cladded vacuum bonded frame and hot dipped galvanised chassis. It runs on nitrogen-filled tyres designed to reduce wear and tear and running costs, and comes with a 12 month warranty and three year Roadside Assist Program.
